The international symposium titled “Building and interrogating digital corpora in the age of artificial intelligence” will be held on 29 February and 1 March 2024 at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of Tunis – University of Tunis.
This two-day event will bring together researchers from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds to explore issues related to textual corpora, their construction and the cultural, ethical and epistemological implications they raise. The discussions will also provide an opportunity to reflect on best practice in the use of databases, corpora and artificial intelligence in research and teaching.
Organised by the Intersignes laboratory (LR14ES01) under the direction of Professor Jamil Chaker and the supervision of Professor Samia Kassab Charfi, this symposium is an initiative aimed at strengthening the digital and writing skills of young researchers and doctoral students. It is also an opportunity to develop partnerships with foreign institutions.
The event is organized in partnership with the Structures, Systems, Models and Practices Doctoral School. The University of Tunis is supporting this international symposium, which is part of a series of scientific events as part of the RAQMYAT Project.
We invite you to join this enriching meeting, which promises stimulating exchanges and innovative perspectives on the role of digital corpora and artificial intelligence in contemporary research.
