On May 23-24, 2023, the University of La Manouba hosted the first in-person meeting of the RAQMYAT project partners since UNIMED took over its coordination. Funded under the Erasmus+ program, this project aims to enhance the integration of digital tools in doctoral training in social sciences and humanities (SSH) in Tunisia.

A Strategic Relaunch of the Project

After a period of suspension, RAQMYAT has regained momentum thanks to UNIMED. This meeting allowed partners to redefine priorities and structure the next steps.

During the gathering, WP1 was completed following an extensive survey involving doctoral students, faculty members, and institutional leaders. Led by the University of Sousse and the FMSH, this work helped identify existing digital practices and formulate recommendations to improve the current systems.

WP2, launched in La Manouba, focuses on developing digital strategies for doctoral schools. The University of La Manouba leads this process, based on an in-depth analysis of needs and existing practices.

The partners are also advancing the development of online courses (WP3) and a Training for Trainers program (WP4).

With RAQMYAT, the digital transformation of Tunisian doctoral schools is gaining new momentum, improving access to digital tools for researchers and students alike.
